Why Britain Gave Palestine to the Jewish?

21 Jul

“What right did Britain have to grant you (the Jews) somebody else’s country (Palestine)?,” asked George Galloway in this radio interview to a Jewish listener from London.  [ Apa hak Inggris kok dulu memberikan tanah Palestina kepada orang-orang Yahudi? Selanjutnya lihat di bawah }.

The Palestine had Jews lived side by side with Moslems and Christians for centuries. But things changed after 1917. In that year the Brits — under the Balfour Declaration — offered the land of Palestine to the group of Atheistic Zionist Jews who only represented a tiny proportion of the world Jews. Thus, it happened before the holocaust.
Worth listening.

George Galloway has also criticized opponents of the Syrian regime for not “lifting a finger for jihad” by challenging rulers in other countries including Saudi Arabia. See The Telegraph (click here).
But, when we talk on Palestine and Israel, we may also want to watch the interview with Noam Chomsky in this video
